On the wheel i made a candle holder. I wanted it to be a cup, but then i realized that i also needed a new candle holder so i thought mmmmcm why don't i just make my own instead of buying one.

Project of choice
In this picture i clearly made a volcano raining rainbow colors. I was originally making a cup on the wheel and it didn't quite turn out to be a cup so i made it narrow and said this would be a great volcano that i could use as a pencil holder and thats exactly what it is.
slab box project of Choice
In this picture i created a slab box since my primary color slab box was small. I really like flowers and i make everything flower themed so on the inside i painted it yellow with a black flower. On the outside i painted it black.
Fun Fact: On the inside of the box i wrote my dads name because he also liked sunflowers. it just reminded me of him.
Slab Project
In this picture i created a small slab box in the shape of a square. I painted it black with primary color triangles on the outside different sizes. On the top i painted different color swirly lines.
Wheel throwing
In this picture i created a small wheel thrown bowl that i am using for a flower pot. I'm going to use it when i first plant off small seeds. On the outside i painted it white and took a sponge and dipped it in black paint and dabbed it all on the outside of the bowl to create a unique design. On the inside i painted a simple black sunflower.
Surface design
In this picture i carefully crafted with my hands an open bowl. After i created my open bowl i decided to paint a flower type image inside of it. I also painted a smaller flower in it. This project took me about 2 weeks to complete because i took my time so that it could be just right.

Surface Design Project
Surface Design Project
As you can see i have not finished completing my project. I decided to make mountains in dedication of my dad, but it didn't turn out the way that i wanted it to because i didn't have enough time. So hopefully, i can redue it because i want it to be bigger.
This is the final piece of it. what it looks like now.

Mishima and Sgraffito
Mishima: Is a technique to design a piece of artwork by drawing a slip of contrasting colors into the lines of the drawing in leather-hard clay.
Sgraffito: Is a technique to design a piece of art work by adding layers of plaster to unfire ceramic pieces and then scratching them off.
Mishima piece: It’s a plate that with flowers that I want to create. My theme is flowers so I want to try different flowers than the typical ones I do. But it does match my theme since it is flower and nature theme.

Sprigging: Is a process that you use to design a art ceramic piece of clay and decorate it with seperate individual pieces of molded clay to design your art piece.
Slip trailing: Is a process that you use to design a art ceramic piece of clay with slip or under glaze in a dispenser that rises when hardens. It can be applied to bone dry clay or bisqueware.
Impressed texture: Is a method that you can use to add texture to your artwork when the clay is wet to add more detail.
An artist wasn't listed it was founded on pintrest without who created it. (Slip trailing)
